Cuti Holiday!

hello ladies..

I'm now in Islamabad, Pakistan now! well,it's actually my second day here though. So i arrive in Islamabad on the night of 27th April at 10pm which is around 2am (28th April) in Malaysia. *time difference is 3 hours*. Coming out of the plane,i was shocked with the airport, seriously it's kind of 'buruk' even though stated as an international airport but seriously, our local state airport like the one in Malacca is better looking and equipped. So my dad took us straight home, along the way in the car, i didn't really looked outside since its really dark. and basically yesterday, during the day my dad had to go to work,so my brother and i stayed home but after work, our dad took us out for dinner. We went to this restaurant called 'Captain Cook's' where i had their chef's special steak. Omg! the portion of the meal were big, i was struggling to finish it. but definitely it was delicious. i took it picture of my super huge steak but sadly i took it from my dad's BB,and he's at work now,so now no pictures. besides, there are a few pictures of the flight that i took which is the Thai airways which i want to share but somehow my DSLR was switched to Raw format and i don't have the programmed to convert it yet.

More updates on my visit, so do come back later!

Doing Better!

Hello everyone,

Wow, feels like it's been awhile since i last blogged. but I'm feeling better now and the last couple of days have been resting day. Seriously, all my medicine were making me drowsy and sleepy. so currently I'm packing my clothes and stuff for my 2-weeks holiday in Islamabad. Well it's more like spending the time bonding with my dad but I'll take my chances and see what Pakistan is all about. Don't get me wrong, i love traveling and seeing new places but from stories of my siblings who had been to Islamabad before, it's not that exciting. But sure, now i get to see it from my point of view. and also this will be my first time boarding Thai Airways rather than Malaysia Airline. New experience!

I'm not Well

Hello dearies!

Well at this current moment i cant sleep since I've been getting sore throat and now my nose is runny so it is so hard for me to breathe and sleep. every time i lie down, I'm breathless. Owh, I'm getting sick but i don't know from what. Seriously, i don't get that often but now it seems that either it was something i ate (my throat is sensitive to fried stuff) or that my body heat is to high resulting in some sort of fever. Or maybe because i didn't get to see JB live, I'm down with the Bfever! Kidding!

It's the heat I'm guessing.

I'm Jealous!

Afternoon darlings..
I've an article in OMG that Nicole Richie owns more than 200 pair of sunglasses. Owh, I'm so jealous.
Here the article.

Shady lady!
In a new interview with Teen Vogue, shopaholic Nicole Richie admits to owning more than 200 pairs of sunglasses. "But in my defense," she laughs, "I make sunglasses, so I have to research-shop, and I own every pair I've ever designed."
According to the House of Harlow and Winter Kate designer, she views sunglasses as "fun masks to accessorize your face."
The 29-year-old fashionista -- who angered hubby Joel Madden when she spent $3,000 on pillows in March -- says her go-to outfit is jeans and a tee, "but you change the look with accessories. And by accessories, I mean sunglasses, head scarves, shoes and bed jackets."
Though she always looks put-together, Richie admits it's more about feeling good than keeping up with the trends.
"Comfort takes precedence for me," she explains, pointing to her heels as an example. "These are super-high, but because they have a built-in platform, they don't feel like it. I am not that girl who can do super-arched heels. All the shoes I design have a cushion and a platform."

Owh, i so envy her this current moment, i want to be just like here. hihi!

Oatmeals more fun!

Hello everyone..
How's your day so far? so today i'll continue on about how you can make your oatmeal more exciting.

10 WAYS TO MAKE INSTANT OATMEAL INSTANTLY MORE EXCITING
  1. Add fresh or frozen fruit. Sliced bananas are particularly good. A little fistful of frozen blueberries not only add flavor to instant oatmeal, but your mouth will marvel over the inviting temperature / texture differential when you bite into each little berry.

  2. Add dried fruit such as raisins, dried cranberries, dried cherries, dates or sweetened shredded coconut.

  3. Add chopped nuts like walnuts or almonds. Finely chopped nuts can create a tasty crumbled topping.

  4. Add a tablespoon or two of your favorite granola. Mushy boring oatmeal is yesterday's business. Today you can easily add a delightful crunch to any bowl of oatmeal.

  5. Add a dribble of pure delicious maple syrup.

  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Never be afraid of more flavor.

  7. Add a little dollop of yogurt. Flavored yogurts add taste and all yogurts add a smooth creamy texture.

  8. Crush a little handful of your favorite dry breakfast cereal onto your oatmeal. Cap'n Crunch oatmeal anyone?

  9. Stir in a couple teaspoons of your jam or fruit preserves and turn your oatmeal into a fruity fiesta bowl.

  10. Add a single tablespoon of ice cream to your oatmeal. Your mouth will go crazy with pleasure as the cool ice cream mingles with the warm oats.
Honorable mention goes to these oatmeal additions, most of which should only be enjoyed by really skinny people: whipped cream, chocolate chips, mini-marshmallows, butter and brown sugar, crumbled candy bars (seriously) and eggnog.

For Healthier New Me

Hello peeps..
I thought of starting a challenge for myself that is a 7-days Oatmeal Challenge since i kind of feel sluggish lately plus all those late night Mcdonalds does not help, therefore i was thinking of eating healthier and what's more healthier than eating oatmeals. therefore i did a little research to share with you on top reasons to eat oatmeal. so here it goes:

  1. Over 40 studies show that eating oatmeal may help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. According to Quaker, all it takes is 3/4 cup of oatmeal each day to help lower cholesterol. The soluble fiber in oats helps remove LDL or "bad" cholesterol, while maintaining the good cholesterol that your body needs. In January 1997, the Food and Drug Administration announced that oatmeal could carry a label claiming it may reduce the risk of heart disease when combined with a low-fat diet.

  2. The soluble fiber in oatmeal absorbs a considerable amount of water which significantly slows down your digestive process. This result is that you'll feel full longer, i.e. oatmeal can help you control your weight.

  3. You probably already have oats in your kitchen. It's estimated that eighty percent of U.S. households currently have oats in their cupboards.

  4. New research suggests that eating oatmeal may reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes. In fact, the American Diabetes Association already recommends that people with diabetes eat grains like oats. The soluble fiber in these foods help to control blood glucose levels.

  5. With the exception of certain flavored varieties, the oats found in your grocery store are 100% natural. If you look at the ingredients on a canister of rolled oats, you will usually see only one ingredient... rolled oats.

  6. According to recent studies, a diet that includes oatmeal may help reduce high blood pressure. The reduction is linked to the increase in soluble fiber provided by oatmeal. Oats contain more soluble fiber than whole wheat, rice or corn.

  7. Oatmeal contains a wide array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and is a good source of protein, complex carbohydrates and iron.

  8. The fiber and other nutrients found in oatmeal may actually reduce the risk for certain cancers.

  9. Oatmeal is quick and convenient. Every type of oatmeal can be prepared in a microwave oven. Even when cooked on the stovetop, both old-fashioned and quick oats can usually be made in less than 10 minutes. And what about instant oatmeal… a hot breakfast in under a minute... incredible!

  10. Oatmeal can be absolutely delicious! Whether instant, cooked on the stove or baked in the oven, the combination of flavors you can fit into a serving of oatmeal is limited only by the imagination. Visit Mr Breakfast's Oatmeal Collection to see just 60 of the ways you can start to enjoy oatmeal today!

So wanna join me? hehe. I'll be starting tomorrow and we'll see how it goes. and tomorrow I'll share on how to make oatmeal instantly more exciting!

10 Reasons to Say "I Love You"

Hello there sunshines..

Just three little words can mean the whole world to someone. As a relationship matures, you may start to forget to say, "I love you" as you get stuck in the routines of daily life. Telling someone you love him often helps you maintain your close bonds over time. Use the words liberally.
1. Love
Of course, the best reason to say, "I love you" is because you really love the person. You may find there are times in your life when you're reminded of this for some particular reason and just want to blurt out the words.
2. Reassurance
Hearing the words often allows the other person to feel reassured that you really do love him and are thinking about him, even though you may get caught up in other things. If a person goes too long without hearing that you love him, he may start to fear that you don't.
3. Because You Can
Express your love freely because you never know when you may not have the chance to do it again. Your world can change in a heartbeat and you may never have a moment like this again.
4. Security
Hearing the words, "I love you" can make a person feel more secure in the relationship. He will know your feelings and where he stands.
5. To Get Some
Admit it--it's been awhile since you and your honey last got together. Reminding him that you do love him can help him feel closer to you, which may open the door to a bit of hanky-panky.
6. To Hear It Back
When you say, "I love you," most often you're going to hear it back. If you've been feeling a bit lonely and withdrawn--even though you're in a relationship--saying the words will almost guarantee that you'll hear them back. This can make you feel better about yourself and your position in the relationship.
7. It's Unconditional
When you're having a disagreement with someone, it helps to say "I love you" just to remind the other person that you do really love her, even though you may be arguing. This is particularly true when you're talking about your children.
8. Protection
When others are attacking your honey, for whatever reason, it can feel like everyone is against him. When you say "I love you," you can protect him from the sting of these attacks and show others that you are a united front.
9. Pride
When your husband has met some great accomplishment, such as a promotion at work or losing 10 pounds, you naturally feel proud that you are his wife. Telling him that you love him can show him this pride.
10. That Spider Isn't Going to Kill Itself
Face it--sometimes, you say "I love you" because it's going to get you what you want. He might do the dishes, run out to the store at 3 a.m. to buy you ice cream during your third trimester and even kill that huge scary spider in the corner. It's not pretty, but it works, so don't be ashamed to use this from time to time.

A Touch of Blush

Hello there..
Tint of pink..love? There is a childlike innocence about this summer's delicate pastels. The look brings to mind nostalgic memories of dressing up and playing tea parties - and not just because of the cupcake pinks and creamy colours. It's highly polished and classic. Ever the lady, co-ordinate your look from head-to-toe; cinch in your waist with a slim belt, wear heels with everything, match your bag to your shoes and add a long string of pearls. Your mother would be so proud.

I want Longer Legs

Darlings..
Here are some tips on how we girls with the shorter legs make it more longer and leaner other than wearing sky high heels.

Many short women can't help but look at models and be envious. Who wouldn't want legs that look like they go on for miles? Then there's the fact that some pieces of clothing can actually make our legs look shorter, as if we weren't short enough already. Instead of letting this frustrate you, rethink your wardrobe. Believe it or not, there are tips and tricks you can use to make your legs look longer. Before you know it, your legs will look long and glamorous, rather than short and stumpy.

Purchase Pointy Toed Shoes
One of the easiest things you can do to make your legs look longer is to wear pointy toed shoes. Granted, there are a lot of shoes out there that look fabulous and have blunt tips, but these will not do you any good. When the tip of the shoe is blunt, it creates an abrupt ending in the lines of your legs. In order to keep the line flowing, it's best to wear pointy toed shoes, which will elongate the leg. If you have small feet, you may even want to look for styles that stretch out a inch or so beyond your toes. Not only will your legs look longer, but you'll look incredibly sexy as well.

Get Your Pants Hemmed
If you're truly a petite woman, chances are you've purchased petite pants that were still too long. Instead of putting up with it and having bunched up fabric at your ankles, pay to have the pants hemmed. It will cost around $8 per pair, but your pants will look much better and your legs will look longer. When your pants bunch up at the bottom, your body practically screams that you have short legs. However, when you pants are hemmed to the proper length, they look perfect and don't point out the length of your legs.

Wear Skinny Jeans, If You Have the Body for Them
Skinny jeans are a great way to make your legs appear longer. There's only one problem. Not everyone is made to wear skinny jeans. In fact, they aren't a flattering style for plus sized women. However, if you're skinny enough to pull this look off, you certainly should. Skinny jeans can make the shortest of legs appear much longer. The reason is the jeans create thin lines. Just remember not to wear too long of a top with your skinny jeans or you'll defeat your purpose. Instead, pair your skinny jeans with a tucked in tank top or a shirt that is cut to fit a petite body shape.

Shop for Petite Tops
Pants aren't the only clothing that come in petite lengths. When you shop in high quality department stores, you can also find tops that are cut to fit shorter people. What does this have to do with your legs? Believe it or not, too long of a top can make your legs appear shorter. This is because you're cutting off the top third of your legs with your shirt. Instead of wearing tops that hit at mid thigh, opt for shirts that hit no further down than the tops of your pants pockets. If you're worried about short tops showing your belly, you can stick with longer tops, just be sure to tuck them in.

A perfect pick-me-up!

Hello sweethearts..
Last night i went to MPH Alamanda to use my RM50 vouchers since yesterday was the last day. I thought why waste it when i can get something or get my mom novels since she loves reading so much. Seriously looking for a good novels for my mom is hard. First of all, she already has a full racks stock up on novels from so many writer and publications, therefore i sometimes am confuse myself on whether she has the book already or not. Second, my mom is not that young anymore, therefore love stories especially 'cintan cintun' between couples does not fancy her anymore. After hours browsing, i came about 'Bukan Salahku' by Liza Nur. Well, yes it's still based on love but more importantly love towards peace, union, between human beings and religion. Perfect for my mom's reading's list.
My mom's novel cost half of the voucher, therefore i was thinking 'should i get something for myself or should i get my mom another novel?'. The fun part about getting my mom novels is that i still get to read it so it kind of '2in1' kind of a deal. Win-win situation i call it. But browsing and with all the books sometimes i can get pretty distracted from my main search and that is where i bumped into this:

Scrumptious Cupcakes! Despite my mom has a few baking book, this is my very first. I'm glad I've picked this because since growing up, my sister and i love baking, almost everything especially cupcakes. Back then, we used to bake cupcakes a lot but since i moved to stay in Putrajaya while my family lives in our current house in Salak Tinggi, we haven't baked anything for a while now. But when i got home, and my sister saw the book, she is super excited and wanted to bake straight away!

p/s: Flipping through the pages with all of the pictures of the cupcakes, makes me drool!

Investing in Bank Rakyat

Hello dearies..

How was your day? Fascinating? Well,my day was superb since early in the morning, mommy and i went to Bank Rakyat Nilai Branch to invest in their high earn dividend for the past few years. Yes, the dividend that we can get if we invest in the BR investment in around 15%. Way higher that ASB. and since a lot of people are now investing, they already make it a minimum/maximum RM500/person to invest. If you want to invest more, you can ask another form for it, and they will send to their HQ for approval. Seriously, they were quite a long queue and they only let around 50-60 customer to invest daily, so do wake early like me and get the earliest number. Even though me and mommy came early, we got our number at 1040 and 1041. But it was worth the wait coz I'm now a BR investor *seriously poyo kan?*

p/s: If you want to invest in the investment too, go to your nearest BR branch before its sold out!

Looking like a Princess-to-Be a.k.a Kate Middleton

As the royal wedding approaches, all eyes are fixated on princess-to-be Kate Middleton, and more specifically on what she’s wearing. Many women have become obsessed with imitating her look, even buying her same exact garments or replicas when the originals inevitably sell out or are priced too high. Ready to take on the style yourself?

Nina Garcia, the Marie Claire fashion director and “Project Runway” judge, describes Middleton’s style as “contemporary, sophisticated, easy, effortless, and often sporty.” Garcia says it’s no surprise we’re captivated by her style, because it’s not only chic, it’s also really wearable. “Her look is accessible to everyone,” says Garcia. “She errs on the side of being safe and approachable which means her look can be achieved at any price point.” It’s been widely reported that Middleton’s favorite store is TK Maxx (or T.J.Maxx in the US), so she definitely appreciates a bargain too! “She often dresses conservatively but it’s very ladylike,” says Garcia. Hemlines are never too short and she’s never showing too much skin. Her hair and makeup is never overdone. She has a look that’s very approachable.” Read on to achieve Middleton’s head-to-toe look.

Kate’s wardrobe staples: Middleton has some great basic go-to items that she wears again and again, so if you stock up on a few of these essentials you’ll be able to pull off her look. Garcia says, “a classic Burberry trench coat is an absolute must,” but if that’s not in your price range, don’t worry. Trench coats are a big trend this season, so there are belted options at a variety of retailers. Other Middleton must-haves: “expertly tailored blazers, cardigans, wrap dresses, a great pair of straight leg jeans, classic pumps, and a pair of sharp, sophisticated knee-high boots in black.”

When it comes to selecting princess-worthy garments, Garcia says to pay extra attention to how they fit and flatter your body. “The reason why Kate’s Burberry trench and Issa dress are so unforgettable is not that they are especially groundbreaking fashion choices but that they suit her figure so perfectly.”

Kate's color palette: Garcia says Middleton favors classic neutral colors like black, white, beige, and navy. “For formal events we’ve seen Kate wearing color really well, typically in solid dresses and usually in primary hues like bright scarlet or royal blue,” says Garcia. “She also looks great in pink.”

Emphasize your assets: “Kate has an athletic build so she can get away with deep V-necklines without looking vulgar,” says Garcia. “She has great muscular arms that look good in sleeveless dress. She also has a longer torso and is great at dressing her upper body in a way that gives her shape either with a wrap dress or a great belt.” Her now-famous Issa engagement announcement dress meets these criteria.

Kate’s radiant face: “Kate's look is fresh and modern yet sophisticated,” says celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal who’s made up everyone from Beyoncé to Jennifer Lopez. “This look is fabulous for any woman to wear, no matter your age or skin tone.” Roncal says Middleton uses cream-based products—first a makeup primer followed by concealer and foundation. “Always use primer before applying makeup to fill in and even out any imperfections and create the perfect surface for makeup application,” says Roncal. “This keeps skin looking supple.” For a rosy flush, she suggests smiling to find the apples of your cheeks and applying a small amount of peach or pink cream blush with fingers or a synthetic brush. Lastly, be sure to fill in your brows to frame the face. “Kate makes sure that her brows are always groomed and her lashes curled with mascara,” says Roncal. “She looks totally polished like every good princess should be!”

All about the eyes: “The focus of this look is to really make those eyes pop,” says Roncal. “It gives her a sweet intensity that helps her to really connect with her peeps.” To keep your eyeliner in place, Roncal suggests prepping your eyelids with a shadow base and lining your top eyelid as close to the lash line as possible. For extra definition, apply liner to the inner rims of both top and bottom eyelids. “Use a waterproof formula to make sure it stays put or an eyeliner system that layers pencil and powder for a really bulletproof stay!” When wearing a dark liner, Roncal offers up another pro tip: Visine eye drops to make eyes brighter. “I'm sure with the exciting life that she leads Kate doesn't get a whole lot of sleep, and she needs to look fresh and awake!”

Kate’s hairstyle: If you have long hair, Middleton’s layered style is easy to achieve. Celebrity stylist Tracey Cunningham is responsible for the tresses of many A-list celebs from Gwyneth Paltrow to Fergie and is a huge fan of Middleton’s. “I love her hairstyle because it’s really simple and natural,” says Cunningham. To achieve a similar cut, bring in this photo and ask for long layers and a few that frame your face.

Cunningham says the best way to accentuate the layers and get a look like Kate’s is with some cheap hot rollers. “Women can go overboard with curling irons or don’t know how to use them properly,” she says. “The hold is a lot better with rollers.” Try and find a set of hot rollers that are all one large size to create a more natural look. Blowdry your hair, then mist with hairspray and brush it through before putting in the rollers for extra staying power. Start rolling from the bottom of your hair up to about shoulder height and set while you do your makeup.
Kate’s hair color: “It looks like she’s had some fine highlights done recently,” says Cunningham. When you’re a brunette like Middleton, you don’t want to over-highlight your hair, because it looks fake. Cunningham says to ask for a golden light brown, and again, bring a photo to ensure you get the results you want. Highlights can fade or even turn brassy, so she suggests using a protective shampoo like Redken Color Extend. A regular conditioner should do the trick, but if you have thin hair like Middleton, Cunningham says to apply just to the ends, so your hair won’t be weighed down.

And there you have it! Source.

Fashion Trends with Staying Powers - Part 3

Dear peeps!
Finally the last part of the staying fashion trends.

Patent Leather
Why it keeps coming back: Since its invention in the early 1800s, the high-gloss finish has been hot (think Jazz Age Mary Janes and swingin’-60s go-go boots), not, and then hot again―repeatedly. “Patent leather gives your outfit an instant wow factor, but it’s still an approachable and wearable trend,” says Verdi.
Keep it if: It’s an accessory in a timeless style, such as a clutch or a simple handbag, skinny belt, or pumps, “especially in a basic color that will always resurface, like black, nude, red, or Bordeaux,” says Malka. Also a keeper: a patent trench coat with a classic cut.
Toss it if: It’s used in conjunction with another fad, like “a shiny shrunken jacket with shoulder pads,” says Kressley. “Joan Collins gave hers away, and you should, too.” The odds that two trends are going to be popular again at the same time are slim to none.

Wedges
Why they keep coming back: Generations of high-stepping women have loved these shoes since Italian designer Salvatore Ferragamo crafted the first pair from wine-bottle corks in the 1930s. “Wedges give women the psychological feeling of great height―but with much more comfort than typical heels,” explains Verdi.
Keep them if: They’re in pristine condition. Wedges are often made from materials―like cork, natural sisal, or Lucite―that are vulnerable to wear and tear. “This trend comes back in almost exactly the same way, so hang on to the ones that have that vintage look,” says Kressley.
Toss them if: “They don’t have an open toe; closed-toe wedges tend to be uncomfortable, and you’re never going to want to wear them again,” warns Nicole Miller. Says Charles Malka, “Chuck the winter ones, too. This is a style mostly worn in the summer.”

Animal Prints
Why they keep coming back: "Animal prints play off the idea of women being vixenish, wild, and fierce," says Steele. So it's no surprise that fashionistas have been spotted in the prints since the cave-dwelling days―though the trend is most strongly identified with the 50s and 60s, when it was favored by sultry pinup girls, like Bettie Paige and Ann-Margret.
Keep them if: The pattern is in the "large cat" family (cheetah and leopard prints) or black-and-white zebra zigzags, which have the most staying power. Accessories like handbags, belts, and ballet flats hold up well, as do blouses and basic sweaters, like cardigans and V-necks. And stow coats and dresses with enduring silhouettes, such as wrap dresses and A-line designs.
Toss them if: "The print is really bold―giraffe or spotted pony―or in unnatural colors, like lime green or pink," says Kressley. Also ditch larger-than-life patterns that aren't true to scale.

There you go, some helpful fashion trends to keep.

Fashion Trends with Staying Powers - Part 2

Hello ladies..
This is the continuation the fashion trends from Part One.

Peasant Skirt
Why it keeps coming back: This floaty, feminine style has been a favorite of Summer of Love hippies, carpooling moms, and everyone in between. Who doesn’t groove on an elastic waistband?
Keep it if: “It’s unique looking, interesting, or hard to find―anything very ethnic, printed, or embellished, for example,” says Verdi. Adds Rebecca Taylor, “Eyelet peasant skirts always look fresh.”
Toss it if: “It’s a bright color or neon,” says Kressley. Most likely, those skirts won’t come back; and if they do, you should be able to pick up a new one at low cost. Also, anything that’s overly costumey―making you look like an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean―has got to go.

Leggings and Skinny Jeans
Why they keep coming back: Ultra-fitted bottoms―veterans of Debbie Harry’s style era and Debbie Gibson’s, too―are a recurrent trend for a reason. “Skinny jeans can be dressed up or down,” says Charles Malka, the founder of the Charles David line of shoes and accessories, while “leggings are a great way to show off your legs without showing skin―and perfect for layering in the winter,” points out Taylor.
Keep them if: You’ve invested in high-quality leggings, “because they’re charging more for them each time around!” says Valerie Steele. Any pairs in dark colors and free of lacy trim are worth stashing; they can stand in for tights during times when leggings are not au courant. As for skinny jeans, keep yours if they’re figure-flattering and made from “a pure, classic denim,” says Verdi.
Toss them if: Era-specific details―such as a distinctive wash, zippers at the ankles, or prominent embroidery―decorate the denim. “And get rid of any leggings in bright, all-the-rage colors or patterns―they’re not going to work again,” advises Kathryn Finney.

Ankle Boots
Why they keep coming back: Said to have been inspired by the footwear of 19th-century soldiers, ankle boots are “easy for women of all calf sizes to wear―and you can get the look and the height of a boot without having to go full-length under trousers,” says Robert Verdi.
Keep them if: They’re “made from fine leather in classic colors, like black, brown, and dark blue,” says Finney, and any necessary rehabbing can be done easily at a shoe-repair shop.
Toss them if: They have an obvious faux finish, like lizard, which can make the boots seem cheap, or if “the toes are too pointy, which makes your feet look a bit funny,” says Charles Malka. And retire boots with studs, fold-over flaps, or other touches that scream of-the-moment fashion.

Fashion Trends with Staying Powers - Part 1

Hello ladies..
Wanna know which trend with staying powers? Check it out.

Leather Bomber Jacket
Why it keeps coming back: Strictly for the cockpit set when it debuted during World War II, the bomber jacket, which saw plenty of action on terra firma after it caught on with 80s-era trendsetters, like Madonna, is "chic and a little tough at the same time," explains Valerie Steele, director and chief curator of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in New York City.
Keep it if: The cut flatters you and the style sticks as close to the original as possible, as any major variations tend to look passé. Take stock of the cuffs, too: "Leather cuffs are more classic than the ones with the knit ribbing," says Kathryn Finney, author of How to Be a Budget Fashionista.
Toss it if: It's exaggerated in any way. "No tight sleeves, loose bodies, or belts," cautions Robert Verdi, a fashion stylist based in New York City. "And if it's red with an embroidered eight ball on the back, ditch it."

Baby-doll Dress
Why it keeps coming back: Ubiquitous in the 60s, the 80s, and even just recently, the Empire-waisted wonder “always returns because it’s very forgiving,” says Rebecca Taylor, a fashion designer in New York City. “People from thin to not-so-thin can wear these dresses, so no one wants to part with them,” says Nicole Miller, a fashion designer in New York City.
Keep it if: It is made from a long-wearing fabric, like silk or wool, and has a trapeze or A-line shape―“but no more voluminous than that,” says Finney. The most recent iteration was positively billowing, bordering on maternity gear, and it probably won’t be trendy again. Instead, store the subtler shapes that gradually flare away from the body.
Toss it if: The color (like an over-the-top hot pink), embellishments (ruffles and rosettes), or length (Shirley Temple–short) make it too youthful looking. “The age limit on looking good in this style is lower than you’d think,” says Steele. “If you’re not sure it’s right for you, then it probably isn’t.”

Platform Shoes and Boots
Why they keep coming back: Platforms have made a footprint on almost every decade of the last century―arguably no more so than in the 70s, when they graced the feet of Stevie Nicks wannabes and hustled the night away under disco balls. “For a heel, they’re easy to walk in, and they have a slightly funky edge,” says Finney. Adds Trina Turk, a fashion designer in Los Angeles, “Hey, it’s a powerful feeling to be taller!”
Keep them if: The shoe is sophisticated (you don’t want to look like a mall-prowling teen) and at least somewhat practical. “A four-inch heel and a one-inch front platform is the max,” says Nicole Miller. Any higher will look a little RuPaul―and be tough to walk in.
Toss them if: “Anything about them is too extreme―like design, material, or thickness of heel,” says Carson Kressley, the host of Lifetime’s How to Look Good Naked. In that case, what goes around definitely won’t be coming around again.

Hop on Bunnies!

Hello sweethearts..

Yesterday, as i was waiting for my boyfriend to finish work, i went to watch a movie to kill time. At first i wanted to watch Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa but the timing wasn't right so i settled with Hop. If any of you wondering, i did watch it alone. So when i bought the ticket, i went confidently sat in the supposed seat of mine. After all the trailers have been played, the movie was about to start...out came the words...'Tayangan Unggul mempersembahkan....' and I'm like, omg!, I'm in the wrong cinema hall *malu gile*,i picked up my bags and left the hall, outside is saw the number for my hall was next to it. So i went in there and the movie had already started maybe about 5 minutes. Seriously,i would be more embarrass if the seat that i was seating before belong to someone else. Phew!
So Hop is definitely a fun family movie, the movie is started on Easter Island, E.B. played by Russell Brand, a teenage rabbit, is intended to succeed his father played by Hugh Laurie as the Easter Bunny. However, E.B., intimidated by the calling's demands, runs away to Hollywood to pursue his dream of becoming a drummer. While the young rabbit struggles to find a home, unsuccessfully asking Hugh Hefner to take him in at his Playboy mansion, his father sends his royal guard, The Pink Berets, to find his son. Meanwhile baby-chicken Carlos and his music-obsessed assistant Phil plot to take over the Easter organization.
All in all,it was entertaining, watching all those candies and chocolates in the movie made me wanted to buy the bunny egg chocolates in Cold Storage, but i find it quite expensive. For a small size egg,it was about RM5/each. Anyways, E.B and the Pink Berets were so cute, i wish i could find their stuffed dolls sometimes, chomel sangat!

Just Go With It

Hi there darlings,
Last night i had the chance to watch 'Just Go With It' starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker and Nicole Kidman in KLCC. It a romantic comedy about this plastic surgeon, Danny who fell for a much younger school teacher, Palmer. Due to a lie, he asked his loyal assistant, Katherine to cover up his lie by pretending to be his soon to be ex-wife. but as time goes, more lies backfire involving Katherine's kids, everyone headed to Hawaii for a weekend that will change their lives.
The only thing i didn't like about it was i find the flow of the movie quite slow and it's like a drag waiting for it to reach the end,but overall it was a fun comedy movie.

His Car is No Longer Tinted

Afternoon dearies..
I've just remembered something happened to Mr.Amy's car on Wednesday. Well,my boyfriend's road tax in nearing to expired so he already applied for a new one. unfortunately, on Wednesday, after breakfast, as we were getting ready to go on a date, the lady doing his road tax called and said they can't proceed his road tax until he pays the JPJ a fine that was compounded for his tinted car. But he told the lady that he never got any summon from the JPJ or what so ever. But the lady ask hi  to go to the JPJ and deal with them first. so,no dates, we went straight to JPJ in Bangi. and seriously it took the whole day settling it. when he checked, the summon was issued by a camera at a traffic light because of his to dark tinted windows. he had to wait for a officer to come out and check his glasses and it took hours. when the officers came out, he said that 50% of light should go through the glass, that's the JPJ standard. but my boyfriend's car has less than 50% sunlight that went through so the officer said there's nothing that he can do unless my boyfriend takes off the tint and came back for the officer to check, pay a fine of RM140,than only can he renew his road tax. Poor Mr.Amy kan? So we had to find a car shop to take off his tint and guess what, the workers said my boyfriend's car was like the 11th or something that they have to take its tinted off. and that also took awhile, menyesal plak ikut. after the car was strip naked, we went back to the JPJ so the officer could check back the car,my boyfriend pay the fine and proceed with the process of renewing the road tax. But seriously, even if you want to pay, it take hours. we came around 2pm from the workshop and my boyfriend settled paying around 5.20pm. the whole day,i was stuck there. What a day!

p/s: if you don't want to be summon by the JPJ, make sure your tinted does not excess the recommended 50% sunlight!
pp/s: Boyfriend's car is naked,i find that hilarious!
